Product Description

The forget-me-not bracelet from Flora Danica's 70th anniversary collection is a unique and special piece. Forget-me-nots have been a popular and cherished symbol in Flora Danica's collections since 1952, representing fidelity, love, and friendship.

The bracelet features three small forget-me-not flowers crafted from sterling silver. Each flower measures 6 mm in diameter, providing a delicate and charming touch. The flowers are connected by a fine chain that is adjustable in length, with options of 16, 18, and 19.5 cm. This allows for a personalised fit, catering to individual preferences and wrist sizes.

The bracelet's design is both simple and elegant, making it suitable for everyday wear or for special occasions.

Whether as a gift for a loved one or as a personal accessory, the forget-me-not bracelet offers a beautiful representation of fidelity, love, and friendship in a stylish and versatile form. Choose either a 22k gold or rhodium plating.

22k Gold & rhodium plating

Our Gold plating refers to jewellery that consists of a thin layer of gold that is applied over the top of 925 Sterling silver. Many jewellery brands use a base metal as a more economical production method to achieve the same look. However, we only use Sterling silver which helps to keep the shine and gilding for longer.

We also use Rhodium plating over Sterling silver to increase the durability of the jewellery and make it whiter, brighter, and more reflective. Solid silver is too soft to be fashioned into jewellery, so it contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% of other metals. The traces of other metals in Sterling silver can cause tarnishing so adding rhodium plating prevents this from happening. The rhodium plating also helps protect it from scratches and wear.

The metals that we use to craft our jewellery do not contain any hazardous substances such as Nickel, Lead, Cobalt, Chromium, Mercury, Cadmium etc.

Caring for your jewellery

You may be concerned about tarnishing your plated jewellery further by cleaning it. Even so, you should be cleaning your jewellery from time-to-time to keep it looking its best. Avoid rubbing the jewellery and simply clean it in warm soapy water.

  • Remove all plated jewellery when doing pretty much anything that involves heat or moisture...so...bathing, swimming, exercise....and anything else you can think of where the jewellery may get wet.
  • After bathing/showering, wait until you're dry before putting on your plated jewels and apply all lotions and perfumes on before putting the jewellery on. Different chemicals in lotions and perfumes can seriously tarnish jewellery. It's best to avoid any tarnish with plated items as they aren't as easy to clean as silver and gold pieces.
  • Store gold plated jewellery in the box it came in. Don't throw it in your jewellery box with everything else as the friction of rubbing up against other metals can wear away at the layer of gold. And leaving it lying around increases the risk of tarnishing.
  • Don't sleep in your plated jewellery for the same friction-y reasons!
  • DON'T use any abrasives to clean your plated jewellery! So, ignore all the advice online to use baking soda or a toothbrush to clean your plated items! Anything abrasive will remove the layer of gold or rhodium.
